Jenteel part deux: “The Roll Up”

This style was done by hair artist Keva Hall for her show entitled “My Good Hair” @ Rush Arts Gallery in New York. It is part of “Garveyism” — styles based on Marcus Garvey’s beauty pageants promoting natural beauty. This style was inspired by powdered wigs of the 18th century.
