Robin was married on August 18, 2006 in South Padre Island, Texas

“I got some highlights at Aveda and did my own twist out. I’d been natural for about 8 months and had not experimented with many styles… The hubby and I always wanted to get married on a beach. We live in Texas and got married the weekend after I graduated physical therapy school and the Monday before he started his PhD…Galveston was out, so we made the drive to South Padre to do the honors, after only seeing pictures of the area :)”

    I love it! Sorry for asking this question over and over again, but what products did you use for your twistout? I know it had to be plenty humid on a beach in Texas in August! Thanks!!!

    I simply love that you are showcasing natural brides! These women are simply radiant. I do agree that it would be nice to know a little more about how they created their wedding day styles…but a picture is also worth a million words, and these pics are saying, “I am natural, happy, and in love!”
