I always felt like I was hiding and felt shameful. I remember one day in my early twenties it started to rain after I had spent countless hours at a hair salon and had left my umbrella at the salon. I got so frustated with the frizz in my hair I walked into a barber shop with shoulder length permed her and told a barber to shave it off. He thought I was nuts and would regret however, when he was does done I felt free I felt me. I love natural hair and I thank all of you beautiful women for inspiring us or should I say all of us beautiful women inspiring each other. Please let me know where to send pictures and hair tips.
