Tamar was referring to that girl’s hair color. But I gotta say, in my mind, I would be thinking Ronald McDonald too, lol… Not because of the red hair only, but because of the Red hair along with the yellow and red outfit combo. Tamar’s mouth is justarunningfaucet.com.
Everybody knows Tamar is a RIOT!! I thought it was hillarious especially considering her outfit! I mean really I’m natural and I probably would have said the same thing!
WTF….yikes! But at the topic at hand, I don’t think it was a dig at natural hair per se but so much of the color (which I thought was cute personally) but as mention Tamar (or her sisters) really can’t talk about anyone let’s be seriously here.
This is VERY offensive to me. you can say that it’s not about the texture but ronald mcdonald has curly hair. if the girls hair was straight do you really think she would say this? War between naturals and non naturals! i truly believe non natural black women are brainwashed with all their weaves. trying to look like white women. news flash youre not white and your hair isnt straight and blonde! ugh makes me sick!
even if she WAS talking about the texture of her hair, so? is tamar not aloud to have a personal preference of what type of hair she likes? and of course if the girls hair was straight , tamar wouldn’t have said this. ronald mcdonald has CURLY hair so she probably would’ve compared the the girl to the little mermaid or a not-cute version of rihanna. not everyone likes the look or texture of african american hair, get over it. and YES I’m natural my self and I’ve seen some girls with natural hair that look a hot ass mess, much like the girl tamar was just talking about. sometimes it’s really not about trying to white. it’s just a preference of style you like.
Actually the hair dyeing comment didn’t bother me. But the whole you need a wig or a weave comment was just sad. We have come farther but theres still a long way to go. She’s basically just emphasizing (like many other black people) the belief that natural hair is not pretty, beautiful, acceptable, etc. It’s an attitude and way of thinking that is bothersome. It’s not about her opinion but more about the mindset.
and Tamar saying the lady needs a wig or a weave is indirectly talking about her being natural. If someone doesn’t like something fair enough but to be rude like that to another human being just doesn’t make any sense to me.
The first response to the auditionee was to dye her black. Very rarely do backing singers stick out like that, it detracts from the artist. Second response made by Tamar was to cover her hair with a wig or weave. If she didn’t think there was a problem with her hair texture why would she suggest covering it, why not just go with the first suggestion. That is my thought on it. Finally , is it necessary to be rude to someone if something about them doesn’t agree with you?
I don’t believe it is a big deal. There is no need to insult her because she has not insulted natural women. I believe if she styled her natural hair in a more presentable way there would not have been a problem.
Okay um that was no big deal to me. Yes Tamar can be opinionated (understatement I know) but she just meant that the girl should dye her hair; I wasn’t really offended by that. It was the girl that knew someone would say something about her hair and went to on to say she can get a weave and everything. And Tamar didn’t say anything about her hair texture! I usually like discussions that come about on here but I don’t understand why this was so important that it had to be brought up… people trying to start stuff up I guess

Check out HER receding hairline, when she wear her pieces and half wigs-Ronald did have all over thick hair—-all I have to say
it’s hard but i’m trying not to pay too much attention to not so bright people.
IMO, the hair color looked ridiculous, and I agree with Tamar.
black women always compare themselves to white women’s and they wonder why society do it

Really Tamar??!!! She should NEVER be allowed to voice her opinion of what’s Haute and what’s not!

That’s not Tamar. If you look closely you would notice that the female in that picture is darker and also has an ass….which Tamar does not!
ewww nasty and ghetto. What type of female walks around looking like this? Disgusting.
DEAD!
I saw the show and I don’t think it was a dig at her being natural. short Red fluffy hair, yellow outfit = main characteristics of ronald mcdonald.
I’m not at all shocked or offended by this. Everything Tamar does and says is extra.
Her hair was cute!! I just wasn’t feeling the color either..I love blacks and browns vs. the unnatural looking colors lol
Tamar is funny>>>she was pontiing out the obvious>>>it was not about the girls hair texture!!! I mean c’mon!
I do wish Tamar would try a different look than the long straight hair>>>it would be interesting to see!

Who cares what some I was gonna say “has been” but she’s actually a “never was” Reality Show wannabe thinks about anything??
