  1. I tried flexi-rods and it was an utter disaster :( My hair looked like dry finger coils LOL! Not one to give up though! This article is right on time, as I’ve been meaning to see how naturals w/ hair as curly as mine (4a/b) handle the ends of the hair.

  2. Cute! That is definitely a style I would try. I would love to see more how-to videos like this on this site (I know they’re all on youtube, but I don’t have a lot of time to search and sometimes I don’t even know what I’m looking for!)

    • YouTube is DEFINITELY overwhelming sometimes! I love coming across selected videos, especially when I know I want to try a new look but have no clue what I want to do (twists, braids, updo, straight hair, curls etc).

      Some of my favorite users are TiffanyNicholsDesign (lots of updos), SimplYounique (good tips on hair growth and easy styles) and BlakIzBeautyful. When I’m in the mood to browse, I start with their pages!
