Though this certified personal trainer is 19 weeks pregnant, you’d never know. That is because Massy Arias was an avid weightlifter prior to her pregnancy.

During her first trimester, she avoided lifting and instead maintained some physical activity and healthy eating. Massy is now in her second trimester and gradually reincorporating a bit of lifting.

While Massy’s body is no doubt amazing at this stage, do keep in mind that every woman who experiences pregnancy does so at a different starting point.  Add to that that each pregnancy is a different journey.

My starting point and all the years of training has a lot to do with my own growth so take this into account before comparing your pregnancy with any other woman, including mine.

My goal is to keep living and preaching about a healthy lifestyle. Couple of days before going into 19 weeks of pregnancy and I’ve never felt better. Being active and eating healthy isn’t only about maintaining a healthy looking body, for me it has meant staying physically but most importantly, mentally healthy as well.
I am not doing this for me, but for the beautiful princess that is growing inside of me. Even though I’ve been so active for many years now and my routines might be a bit more advanced than what my fellow expecting mothers might be able to do at this point, I want to continue to inspire you all (pregnant or not) to be active. We will all grow at different rates and every woman’s body is different…

Some women have vertical oriented uteruses thus concealing pregnancy.

I love Massy! I’ve been following her since the beginning of her fitness journey when she was depressed. She definitely didn’t start out that ripped, but she’s so refreshingly positive and honest about the struggle. I’m so proud to see where she is now with her new baby and her boo. Go Massy!

Wow quite amazing. I personally didnt show at all during my pegnancy. But my body is the opposite of hers I am about a size 16. My son was born when I was only 7 months pregnant. When I brought him home my neighbor asked whose baby he was. I was tickled cause I never realized she didnt know I was pregnant. Then a week after I had him I was a size 12 indeed the human body is a mystery.
