I'll start
1. I call myself a wet 4B and a dry 4C. When my hair is wet, it develops a somewhat consistent coil pattern. When it is dry, the pattern becomes inconsistent and it looks like 4C hair.
2. My strands are fine.
3. I don't have a lot of density (don't have a lot of strands on my head).
4. My hair is super porous. It sucks up water and I have a hard time keeping it moisturized.
5. My hair is shoulder/shoulder blade length (about 9.5 to 11 inches all around)
Photos are below :)

OfflineYour description of your hair is true for my hair as well. When wet I have a lot of coils and curls but once it drys it looks straight in a sense and looks like SOME 4C,
1. so I call it a 4BC.
2. I don't have anyone to compare my strands to so I'm not sure on this one.
3. I would say it's pretty dense it's super thick!!!!
4. Don't know the porosity, but I'm still learning.
5. 3 inches long

OfflineMy hair is exactly like yours. We even the same length! I will add that my hair shrinks 75% of the straightened length and only the nape has a 4a pattern when wet.

1. Your texture- Mostly 4a, 4b mixed in, with a patch of 3c in the back
2. Your strand thickness- Medium thickness
3. Your hair density- Very dense!
4. Your porosity – Hmmm…
5. Your length- About an inch or so away from bra strap length. Haven't really measured with a ruler.
6. He's a pic of a bentonite wash that best shows my texture
yikes! i don't really know how to answer some of these
1. Your texture: at the crown it is almost afro-straight, 4a/b/c.every where else the coils are wonderful when its wet, but when its dry, thats a whole nother story
2. Your strand thickness: thick
3. Your hair density: heavy duty. . .
4. Your porosity: will someone enlighten me?i have no idea what this means
5. Your length: collar bone lengtb in the front, just past the collarbone in the back (while straight)
6. Upload: no current picks as yet![]()
My biggest struggle is finding products that help me define my curls? while i do love twist outs and protective styling, i want to be able to wear my natural curls (if they act right)

1. Your texture- I'm not exactly sure where I fit in this number hair typing situation but I've always called myself a type 4 since no other texture came close. My entire head is composed of S-shaped curls but different sections are tighter than others. I would say my hair is 4b in the coiliest parts which is around my edges, 4a in the back (I don't have those spirial curls but the texture is looser than the edges) and about at 3c in the crown.
2. Your strand thickness- I have it all. My edges have fine strands, the majority of my head has medium strands and there are a few thick ones here and there.
3. Your hair density- High (pray for me on wash day
)
4. Your porosity- I think I'm normal porosity
5. Your length- See pics

Offline1. Your texture
I would say I'm a 4A. I have a few areas that aren't as defined and a couple of strands that are even straight! But mostly 4A.
2. Your strand thickness
Pretty thin
3. Your hair density
I would say medium density
4. Your porosity
Currently my porosity is low
5. Your length.
Approximately collarbone length
Hey guys!
1. Your texture: I think i'm a 4a mostly, with 3c in the very back and a 4b section on the very top.
2. Your strand thickness: My strands are fine to medium.
3. Your hair density: The mid section of my hair and the back is ridiculously dense, but the front thins out a bit. I think it's due to the constant straightening years ago.
4. Your porosity: I have low porosity…I need steam in order to get the moisture to penetrate and I get product build up very quickly.
5. Your length: Awkward! LOL It's somewhere between my ears and shoulder.
6. Upload a photo if possible
