I know I can't be the only one. The right side of my hair grows longer and thicker than the left side of my head. I've cut the right side so my left can catch up, but it always surpasses. A while ago I decided just to accept it as it is, but now it's bugging me again. I keep reading that perhaps the side you sleep on can play a role in that, and even though I'm all over the place, I do favor my left side at night over my right. I decided to stop sleeping on that side so much and see if that makes a difference. Has anyone else had any luck getting the hair on one side of your head to catch up? Or should I just give it up for good?

My left side is dense, and my right side is less dense for whatever reason. For now they seem to be growing just as quickly, but I have started using Castor Oil to thicken all of my hair up (hopefully). But I have no idea why my right side just hates me 
When I got relaxers that side shed so much I became almost bald, but the left side was just flourishing. WTH RIGHT SIDE 
well I sleep with a stain scarf and pillowcase, are you doing that as well?

my left side grows longer and thicker than the right side does…Thats why alot of my hairstyles that I do with pin ups are all pushed over to the long side on the left lol!

@CANDACEBRIONNE oh my gosh thats hilarious! But I wonder if you do that often if its putting stress on the right side because your pulling it back?

@briar yes I always sleep with a satin scarf and a pillow case. I use castor oil almost daily and it's been a staple of mine for a couple of years, but i can't say much about thickness or growth from it.
@CANDACEBRIONNE I do the same thing!

@nkfd I think its probably just nature. Honestly nothing on our bodies are identical so it only makes sense that our hair grow differently out of both sides too!

@briar that is so true.
@mommynaptural_hawkes my hair is the exact opposite the back of my head grows way faster than the back. Im always afraid it'd look like I was rocking a mullet. Awesome as they are….
