OfflineKeeping my ends moisturized! My hair is just around the 12 inch mark, which means these ends have been around for about a year. Keeping them properly hydrated and smooth is a challenge!!
What about you… Let's share and compare notes.

OfflineThe hardest thing for me right now is making my hair last for a couple days without jumping in the shower! My hair is usually sytle-able for about two days after a wash and go, then I have to co-wash. I'm wondering if its because the silk scarf is moving at night, maybe I need a bonnet instead?
Anyway keep those ends up and off your clothes/shoulders! All that rubbing and friction, especially against cotton will only make it worse. HTH

OfflineThe biggest challenge I'm having with my hair is getting a nice twist out going! It looks so simple and I can twist my hair before bed but my hair is so coily that when I take out the twist it doesn't keep the shape of the twist it just ends up looking the way it always does. Even after I leave the twists in for more than a few days to make sure it's truly dry. Styling is still an issue for me which is why I'm always puffing and (now that the challenge is on) bunning!

OfflineThe biggest challenge for me is FINDING OUT WHAT WORKS FOR MY HAIR!
Now I see why people become product junkies! There are thousands of products, my new hair is extra picky about what it likes, and the only thing that's come out of it is my wallet shrinking by the day
Someone give me a cheat sheet already!

i soooooo feel you on this…this was the bane of my natural hair existence, i suggest that you get products based on your hair porosity NOT JUST your hair type/thickness because the porosity seriously dictates how your hair will or wont response to products. im sure bglh has some info on porosity and what would be good products/ingredients/methods of care for each type

OfflineMy biggest issue right now is styling. I am so lacking is the styling department. I see so many of you ladies doing so many great up-dos and I wish I could duplicate them but I get so frustrated because my hair shrinks so much and is also so dense that doing something as simple as a roll tuck and pin induces sweating
. Another issue I have is tangles. My hair does the most disrespectful tangling on the planet. One hair strand will wrap around a group of hairs nearby. I mean who does that?
