Hey! I've recently added protective styling as a permanent part of my monthly regimen in order to retain length. I have grown to like it, but I get stuck trying to come up with new styles so I don't get bored. Can anyone post links to tutorials or post pictures of styles they enjoy for reference?

I've found that I like mini twists. When done right they last a very long time. I think they came out ok IMO. Winkmini.jpg

Yarn braids!

They are fun and easy to install yourself, but they do take time. Moisturizing is easy and washing them is quick, I just used a toothbrush on my scalp and then let the ACV run down my strands. Once I tied and burned the ends they never unraveled or loosened.

Sorry I'm seeing this really late! My hair is about arm pit length so I usually comb it into a little bun on top of by head and wrap the marley braid hair around it. My boss actually showed me how to do it and she has neck length hair. She said she put hers into a high puff with lots of gel and wrapped it around that. @CANDACEBRIONNE
