Hello BGLH fam,

Im 19 and just started transitioning as a new years resolution. i've been meaning to go natural for a while now but this college life is time consuming. i was thinking about doing the long term transitioning and planning on doing a BC January of 2014. im really excited on my natural hair journey and heard that it can be very stressful. i know that this site is going to give me the motivation and support that i need. i guess that is all for now.

I transitioned from relaxed to texlaxed without a BC, so I know you can do it too. :)

Welcome ladies @lexxyloves @HOPEsaidit. i grew out my hair my hair for 10 months before i did my big chop last week. it was only stressful for me because of the two textures were hard to blind but there are many ladies on here that have great easy styles to help with that. i hope to see you in some forums!! smile

@lexxyloves Yay <3 I happen to be 19 and in college as well! I accidentally transitioned for about 6-7 months and then BC'd two months before I turned 19. Its a wonderful process, getting to know something you have neglected for so long ya know? I am also in college and if you have any penny saving tips holla at cha girl lurk
