Fulani Braid Inspiration: 16 Gorgeous Fulani Braided Styles

• Jul 26, 2017

A couple of weeks ago, our very own Leila talked excitedly about her beautiful Fulani braids. When I noticed the growing hair trend, I was reminded of singer Alicia Keys and her signature cornrows with two backwards cornrows on either side of her head. Now, ladies are taking the look to another level and are truly making Fulani braids their own. Here are 16 Instgrammers who are putting a unique spin on Fulani braids and killing it!

Love the all the textures in the look.

Nice one! This styles are all beautiful!

There is nothing new under the sun and i love the fact that we as Africans can be so unique yet beautiful in our own way!

Braided hairstyles that are not too tight are perfect for a carefree summer protective style that can add a sense of uniqueness to a everyday style!

Hi,

Isn’t it painful because it’s braided tightly? Btw, I like the braid “A vision in white” the lady looks perfect with that hair. She looks really natural but amazingly captures the eyes. Thanks!
